uPVC Windows
We offer a wide range of uPVC windows and style options. Combinations of opening sections and fixed panes can produce any design to suit the customers needs. Traditional casement windows, Tilt and turn windows, Vertical sliders, mock sash horn windows and all available in a choice of soft sculptures or classic chamfered profiles.
All our window profiles are designed and extruded in the UK from 100% virgin polymer, all are 70mm in thickness and all carry all the relevant British Standard Kitemarks.
Technical Specification.
70mm PVC-u profiles - rigid polyvinyl chloride, un-plasticised with acrylic modifiers, extruded using powder PVC-u with a gloss white finish fully guaranteed not to discolour.
Finish - choice of white, golden oak, cherrywood, mahogany, rosewood, white foils, cream, grey, green and black foils in addition to a range of painted colours. Woodgrain finishes are applied as a surface foil to the PVC-u, either inside or outside of the window as required.
Glazing - all products are internally glazed with either chamfered or sculptured glazing beads. All glazing practices and use of safety glass comply to BS6262. All gaskets meet the requirements of BS7412:1991 and all are low level.
Reinforcement - hot rolled galvanised steel and mild steel section to G275 N BS 2989, reinforcement is incorporated where design criteria or size limitations are exceeded. All doors and laminated products are fully reinforced as standard.
Window locking mechanism - comprising of bi directional shootbolts and enhanced by bi directional centre claws designed to exceed the standards required by Secured By Design. All operated by key locking handles available in a range of finishes, gold, black, silver, chrome and white as well as monkey tail handles.
